Digital Extremes is running promotion weeks for free-to-play shooter Warframe, which will grant players extra resources and a companion animal.

From May 14 to 26, the Den of Kubrow Bonus Weeks on all systems will provide a free Kubrow Starter Kit to players who log in and play, and other bonuses will be offered through the two weeks.
The Kubrow are a canine-like egg-laying species that "first served as companions and pets to the Orokin, and later as fiercely loyal guard animals for Orokin elite." Your Tenno can get a Kubrow of its own (see the video below), as well as a Kubrow gene mixing kit for breeding. Players can also play a 4-day Tactical Alert with Vampiric Kubrow enemies, which will grant a special Wraith weapon as a reward.

The video walks you through all of this, and shows off the new enemies and your friendly Kubrow. Digital Extremes also says to keep an eye out for a community event involving the newly-reared Kubrow, character-building Double Resource, Affinity and Drop Chance days, plus a lucrative Platinum sale and BOGO deals.
