There are plenty of titles on the way this month, bringing gamers a mix of new properties, sequels, and re-releases. The second week of May continues the trend, though the releases are all packed into two particular days. Ultratron will continue its launch on other consoles, while Galactic Civilizations III will contnue Stardock's popular strategy series. Here are the releases to look forward to this week:
May 12
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (PS4): As you may expect from the name, this packaged title is an HD remastering of the 2001 and 2003 PlayStation 2 titles, complete with some new story content.
Ultratron (PS4, PS3, Vita): Ever want to get your brain implanted into an upgradeable droid and avenge the human race? Well, you're in luck--the Steam title from 2013 is hitting all consoles this month. It released for Xbox One on May 8.
May 14
Axiom Verge (PC): The hit Metroidvania game (which really ventures closer to simply being a Metroid title) is coming to PC after its PS4 and PS Via debut. You can read our review here.
Galactic Civilizations III (PC): The next iteration of Stardock's large-scale space series will launch from its beta state into full release, bringing more great 4X strategy to fans.
Not a Hero (PC): A side-scrolling pixel art shooter from Devolver Digital and OlliOlli developer Roll 7 is debuting its absurd world and fast-paced action on PC.
Ultratron (Wii U): Last but not least, Ultratron will hit Wii U on the 14th.
