Bungie's next Destiny live stream is coming up soon, with House of Wolves' Prison of Elders set to star this time around.
Bungie Files Trademark For Destiny Content Named The Taken King
This will be the third live stream for the upcoming expansion, with Bungie showing us different aspects of House of Wolves each time so far. The stream will begin at 11 a.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. Eastern--you can watch in the embedded video below once it goes live. Community Manager Deej will return to host, this time with Bungie Lead Designer Matt Sammons and community member ProfessorBroman.
The first House of Wolves stream unveiled The Reef and changes to the vendor and currency system, while the second showed off the Trials of Osiris Crucible mode. During today's event, they'll be playing a brand new co-op Arena activity set in the Prison of Elders, where teams of three players can "take on waves of increasingly difficult enemies to earn high-level legendary and exotic rewards". This sounds like the horde mode fans predicted when it was originally announced with only vague details, so while it's not a third Raid, it is something entirely new to Destiny. You can match-make with other players anytime, or form your own Fireteam to take on higher difficulty challenges with even greater rewards.
Oculus Rift Release Window Announced, See The Final Consumer Version
The first stream in particular was met with a very positive response for the changes to the game's material and upgrade system, in particular the ability to bring any exotic or legendary gear up to the new attack or defense caps. The Prison of Elders remains one of the more mysterious aspects of House of Wolves, given that (going by its description) it doesn't seem similar to another mode. Get ready to tune in!
