It's one of the best times of the month for PlayStation owners, as the free May PS Plus games for subscribers have been announced.
See Microsoft's Games With Gold Offers For May
Sony posted the list of titles coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on the PlayStation Blog today, several days before they'll become available on PSN. Let's see what players are getting next month by system.
PS4
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is coming to the platform for free, bringing its strange and amusing mix of hand-to-hand combat (as you may have guessed), platforming and puzzling to subscribers.
Ether One, a new first-person puzzle game, is also free for PS Plus members. Quite uniquely, it tasks players with tinkering with the minds of the mentally ill through "surreal puzzles".
PS4, PS3 & Vita
The Unfinished Swan, a critically acclaimed indie title, is offered on all three systems. Joining it will be solar speed-demon Race the Sun, the calm and pressure-free exploration title Hohokum.
PS Vita
Finally, side-scrolling puzzle-platformer Murusaki Baby is free only on Sony's handheld. Players guide Baby through a nightmarish landscape in search of home. It's, as Sony says, "cute, and also a little weird."
The PlayStation Store will be updated with these titles on May 5, so look for your free downloads on that day. If you haven't taken advantage of this month's offers, be sure to grab the April games before they are taken off the store when it updates with the new titles.
