The Destiny livestream for House of Wolves expansion content Trials of Osiris is set to kick off soon, revealing the new mode for the first time.
Destiny's Iron Banner Event Is Back: Our Guide To Earning Its Rewards
Bungie is hosting a second House of Wolves livestream with Community Manager Deej, this time joined by Bungie Design Leads Lars Bakken and Derek Carroll, as well as community member tripleWRECK. It will begin at 11 a.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. Eastern, and you can watch in the video below.
Not much is known about Trials of Osiris at this time, other than a general description provided. Bungie calls it a "weekly competitive multiplayer event", a 3v3 elimination mode where power levels matter (clearly borrowing from Iron Banner). The more wins your team accumulates, the greater your rewards, which include Osiris-themed, endgame gear. We've seen some of the armor from the Osiris set already, and tomorrow we should learn how to get our hands on it.
We got our very first look at House of Wolves in its recent debut trailer, and then saw live gameplay for the first time in Bungie's initial House of Wolves stream. Bungie toured The Reef social area, and showed off some changes to the game mechanics that will alter Destiny in a big way. These includes changes to the economy that will allow more material exchanges, as well as the exciting ability to upgrade any legendary or exotic weapon to full attack. Tune in soon to the stream to find out what Trials of Osiris has in store!
