We all grow up and put away childish things. The challenges of youth seem much easier now that we're older and stronger than they did back in our noob days. At the very least, our gear has gotten better. But we still pine for those days of shouting in Ironforge LFG and trekking into Horde territory only for the whole group to disintegrate before we even got in. We remember, and Blizzard remembers, too.
WoW Patch 6.2 Will Also Introduce Shipyards To Player's Garrisons
That's why the company will be introducing the new Timewalking feature to patch 6.2 of World of Warcraft. Players burn through content fairly quickly, and especially after a new expansion hits, many of the developer's wonderfully designed dungeons are just sitting there unloved.
The new mode will allow players to relive 10 of the game's past dungeons during special weekend events. Players will be brought into a queue for a random "heroic" version of one of the older instances, where their gear will be appropriately scaled down to once again provide a challenge (gone are the days of soloing original MC).
The End (Of Free Time) Has Come: Hearthstone Has Arrived On Smartphones
It's a brilliant move on Blizzard's behalf. Their dungeon design is at the top of the industry, but the human need for more loot can get in the way of enjoying it. The company is also adding some level appropriate rewards for your troubles after you take down the boss at the end of the instance, so you can both enjoy the nostalgia and advance your character.
Currently, Timewalking is slated for Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King content only. No Scarlet Monastery...yet. Players need to be at least level 71 to access TBC dungeons and 81 for Lich King adventures.

The Timewalking events will be open for three day stretches during weekend holidays. Patch 6.2 is currently available on the Public Test Realm for all upcoming content.
