The first scheduled DLC for one of this summer's great games, Max Payne 3, has been announced. "Local Justice" is on its way to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Included in this, the first of seven planned DLC's are:
* 3 new maps - 55th Battalion HQ, Imperial Palace, and Departure Lounge,
* a new weapon - M4 assault rifle
* a new item - Light Fingers for faster reloads and body looting
* a new multiplayer faction - Sao Paulo Police
* additional trophies and achievements.
The DLC will be available for $5.99 on the PlayStation Network or 480 Microsoft Points on XBLA. However, this deal is only good for the first week; afterward, the Pack will go to its original retail price of $7.99 on PSN and 640 Microsoft Points.
Three more pieces DLC will be available later this summer: the Disorganized Crime map pack, the Deathmatch Mode in Heaven pack, the Hostage Negotiation map pack, and the New York Minute co-op pack.
The remaining DLC will make an appearance this fall: Painful Memories map pack and the Trickle Down Economics map pack.
If you own the Max Payne 3 Season Pass, these map packs will be free of charge for you from the day of the launch.
