Ahead of the game's release in two weeks, developer Acid Nerve has released a new demo for their 8-bit boss fight title Titan Souls and you should really check it out.
Speaking Of Really Hard Games: Guy Beats Bloodborne In The Most Insane Way Possible
Titan Souls is a sort of cross between Zelda and Shadow of the Colossus in that you, a lone wanderer, must defeat increasingly difficult boss monsters to win the game. The catch - and what makes it great for our post-playthrough world - is that you only have one shot and one heart.
Internet, I expect an insane speedrun through the game within the first 24 hours of its release, and you can prep yourself via Steam now. "Born from a game jam experiment, the Titan Souls demo is a scene-for-scene remake of the original prototype infused with the visual, audio, and gameplay enhancements the game underwent on its way to the full release on April 14."

"Titan Souls wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for the original Ludum Dare game jam, which saw your hero take down three titans with a single arrow, and gave birth to the core concept behind the entire game," said David Fenn, the composer behind Titan Souls. "Now that the development is complete, we thought it'd be fun to celebrate our journey by remaking this original sample of Titan Souls, replacing the bosses with their full-game counterparts that each of these initial ideas evolved into, and enhancing it with the new engine, graphics and audio."
The game is also 10% off until its release, and you can pick up a special collector's edition which features the game's soundtrack, world map, and some great looking posters.
Titan Souls hits PC, Mac, PS4 and PS Vita in two weeks' time. Check out how the game has evolved from its Gamejam days to its final release.
