March came in like a lion, but if this week's video game release schedule is any indication, it refuses to go out like a lamb. Let's see what the Big Three have planned for us.
Hunt The Truth In The Latest Halo Ad Campaign
Life Is Strange, Episode 2 'Out Of Time' (PC / Xbox One / Xbox 360 / PS4 / PS3) - March 24 - after discovering her ability to rewind time, our protagonist Max begins to understand and wield her new skill but soon realizes that great power does, in fact, come with great responsibility. Meanwhile, a storm threatens all of Arcadia Bay and the murder mystery grows deeper in Dontnod's second of five parts to their wonderful new storytelling game. Watch the trailer.
Bloodborne (PS4) - March 24 - because you can never have too many Dark Souls-type games, FromSoftware's latest title has won accolades galore and they certainly look well earned. If it ain't broke, don't fix it and the more punishingly difficult games in the world, the better. We're dedicating this week to its successors and predecessors. Check out the trailer below.
Guy Beats Dark Souls With A Bongo Drum And You Haven't Even Put On Pants Yet
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Xbox One, PS4) - March 24 - the beloved RPG/shooter series brings Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel to next gen consoles along with every piece of DLC currently released. Savvy, and rich, fans can purchase a working Claptrap robot to command and abuse at their whim.
Slender: The Arrival (PS4) - March 24 - continuing the unnerving sense of doom created from the original Slender: The Eight Pages, The Arrival builds on its predecessor and surpasses it. The visuals are impressive and Slendie has never been more terrifying. A perfect creation for one of the modern era's most perfect "urban legends".
Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious (Xbox One, Xbox 360) - March 27 - just in time for the release of Furious 7, you can take up the race as members of 'mi familia' in this (hopefully) over-the-top DLC package for the racing sim. Would be the perfect party game while you take a break from your six film Fast & Furious movie marathon this weekend in anticipation of the upcoming movie.
LEGO Ninjago: Shadow Of Ronin (Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita) - March 27 - the action-packed sequel returns players to the magic and martial arts world made popular in Nindroids and brings them face to face with their newest rival, Ronin. Or...is he? Guess we'll find out soon.
You don't need a lot of games. You just need the right ones. See you next week!
