Mortal Kombat X has been delayed on Xbox 360 and PS3.
Destiny's Merchant Xur Has A New Time Due To Daylight Savings
As IGN reported earlier today, Amazon changed the release date on its listing for the last generation versions of the game. This began the speculation about a delay, which was later confirmed by Warner Bros.
"Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer," the publisher said in a statement. "The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions will be available April 14."
Titanfall 2 Has Been Confirmed, And It Will Be Multiplatform
That's disappointing news for those who haven't made the generational jump--the release date on Amazon now reads June 30. It's not a huge delay--a bit more than a month--but it's unfortunate that the last gen version has to suffer. Whether this is due to the game needing more time in development on those systems, Warner Bros wanting the current gen version to take the front seat, or another unknown reason, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will have to wait just a bit longer to get their hands on the fighting game.
Today, Friday the 13th, Jason Voorhees was announced as a playable fighter in the bonus DLC pack. In the Americas, the Kombat Pack is included in the Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition by Coarse, Limited Edition and Premium Edition, and will be available for purchase separately for $29.99.
