Amazon France has gone ahead and listed the special Steelbook edition of Ubisoft's recently announced Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which features a poster, special case, and some literature providing details on the "Upper Echelon" DLC.
Among the goodies Steel Book provides are a special outfit, five separate pieces of armor, and gold-colored goggles. Amazon France is also offering a special deal. The first 2000 to pre-order Blacklist will get Steelbook for free. And considering it's priced for 39.99 Euro, a little over $50, that's not too bad.
The 7th installment to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series, Blacklist sees series' portagonist Sam Fisher as the commander of Fourth Echelon, and is charged with stopping the group known as the Blacklist from causing ever escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. targets.
Among Blacklist's new features include a new gameplay mechanic called killing in motion, which allows for the player to highlight targets and take them out in quick succession, with a new fluidity while on the run. Featuring Kinect voice integration for XBox 360, players will be able to say things to distract enemies and then attack.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will release for PC, PS3, and XBox 360 in the Spring. Check the trailer below!
