Between the release of Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for the Nintendo 3DS and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two for PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360, there's a lot going on in the world of Mickey Mouse. New E3 screenshots and a new trailer of Power of Illusion have been recently released.
Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is an upcoming side-scrolling platform game published by Disney Interactive Studios. On March 20, 1012, rumors circulated that this new game in the Epic Mickey series was coming to Nintendo 3DS, after a leak on Twitter. On March 23, 2012, it was confirmed by Nintendo Power that Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion was in development for the Nintendo 3DS.
Players must control Mickey and using the 3DS touchscreen, will be able to bring items scattered throughout each stage to life. A special drawing and painting function allows players to create rough versions of objects that magically transform into classic Disney-style 2D illustrations.
Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will both be released on November 18, 2012.
