Developer Dennaton and publishing firm Devolver have entered into a partnership with Italian art collective DayJob Studio to release a five part digital comic set in the neon-infused world of Dennaton's Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.
Dying Light Devs Discuss Why 'The More, The Merrier' In Multiplayer Mode
We can only assume that this trifecta of power will go by the limited-time only title 'Triple D' or 'D3', or 'D-Cubed'. Currently, the first and second issue of the comic are available on Steam via a free custom reading app on the Hotline Miami 2 page.
The series is written by Maurizio Furini (Due Gambe Nuovo (Two New Legs) and Volano Sempre Via... (uh...Always Fly With...)) and Frederico Chemello and picks up almost immediately after the confrontation in the Russian mobster's mansion at the end of the first game. It also gives you a look at some of the new players and factions you'll be squaring off against in the sequel. Nor is it simply a visual experience; selected tracks from the original soundtrack play under the pages, fully immersing you in the tale.
World Of Tanks Storms The Beaches Of Xbox One At Last
The remaining issues will be released periodically as Hotline Miami 2's release date draws closer. When exactly that day is has not been announced, but the game is scheduled to hit PlayStation, PC and Mac systems sometime next month.
Head on over to the Steam store and pick up the digital reader and get the comics to go along with it. They are completely free to read.
Be sure to download the original Hotline Miami while you're there, as vicious and as fun as any game in recent memory, with a soundtrack and art style to die for.
