Riot Games has announced a new game mode for League of Legends called Nemesis Draft, which lets each team choose the champions their opponents will use.

The mode has just been activated in the public beta, the developers said on the official forums, and there are some notes that explains how exactly Nemesis Draft works.
The matches will be five on five, with each player choosing one champion for a corresponding opponent. There are still three bans, which leaves you with the decision of excluding a bad champion you don't want to play or letting it stay to (hopefully) make the other team use. The champions you can give the other team are a collective pool of those available to the players on your team.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection Update Coming Soon, Focuses On Much-Needed Online Fixes
It sounds like a fun twist on the game (something similar exists in Dota 2), and it will be interesting to see how the community takes to it. Matches could break down into boring affairs between subpar or mostly support-based champions, or some intriguing strategies could emerge. The potential usage in the competitive scene should be something to watch, too, as Nemesis Draft would turn high-level matches on their heads.
