Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios are asking you to start your engines with the latest trailer for their delayed next gen racing sim, Project CARS.
Ready Player...Two? It's Happening!
While it is unknown whether or not the new trailer features all in-game graphics, there is more than a good chance that is the case. Project CARS is looking like a true contender for the crown of 'photo-realistic' racing game, a title long held by the venerable Gran Turismo, Need For Speed and other similar entries.
The game has been delayed until March 17 here in the States after it was supposed to arrive last November. All for the best, considering both the number of AAA titles that were released in the waning months of 2014 and the high number of those games - such as the still broken Driveclub - that suffered crippling glitches and patch updates. If a slight delay means that that the game will work properly on Day One, then we here at GameNGuide are all for it.
Dying Light Physical Copies Delayed In Europe And Other Territories; USA Still #1
Project CARS, which stands for Community Assisted Racing Simulator, has been in development for years now and has been playtested by a large community of hopeful fans in that time. We hope that Slightly Mad will have all the kinks worked out and can deliver a truly great racing game that combines wonderful Prix matches with open road challenges. Plus, there will be go-karts and you can never, ever go wrong with go-karts.
Pre-orders are being accepted for all systems - PC, Xbox One, PS4 and even the Wii U, which will come out later this year. Doing so will unlock the Modified Car Pack for you, which will get you three very fancy cars: the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R, the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster and finally, the Ariel Atom 3 Mugen.
Gentlemen, start your engines. Watch the trailer below!
