The Creative Assembly has had many official announcements over the past few months, and it seems the studio has inadvertently made another.

Total War Center user StormofRazors received an early copy of The Art of Total War, an official art book for the series, and it contained a paragraph referencing an unannounced game titled Total War: Warhammer.
The news of a Warhammer tie-in is not in itself surprising information--as Polygon notes, publisher SEGA announced a deal between the two back in 2012. The excerpt from the art book is a quote from Creative Director Mike Simpson, who says the team is "taking the series to a fantasy setting with Total War: Warhammer".
New Nintendo 3DS XL U.S. Release Date Announced
The combination of the two franchises makes sense, even if The Creative Assembly has not branched out to use other IPs in such a way before. The studio explained the decision to partner with Warhammer when the deal was announced:
"With this year being our 25th anniversary," said Tim Heaton, Studio Director at Creative Assembly, "it seems fitting for us to embark on such a dream project with such a well-established partner. The incredibly rich and detailed Warhammer world is something we grew up with, and has left an indelible imprint on us as both designers and gamers."
There are no details of any kind on Total War: Warhammer other than the name, given that it's not officially announced. Perhaps this slip, coupled with the fact that the art book is set to release this month, means an official reveal of the game is on the way soon.
