Mario Party 10 was announced this morning during the latest Nintendo Direct stream, and it will be accompanied by a new wave of Amiibo figures.
The new line of figures will include Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, and Toad, launching alongside Mario Party 10 when it releases March 20. Toad will also be compatible with Captain Toad Treasure Tracker.
New Amiibo are also coming for Super Smash Bros for Wii U compatibility: Pacman, Charizard, Lucina, Robin, Ness, and Wario are on the way.
An unfortunate detail is that Amiibos require you to wipe your data if you want to switch games. Taking Mario from Super Smash Bros to Mario Party 10, for instance, would require you to remove your Super Smash Bros character data from the figure.
