The holiday season was filled with a variety of console bundle deals, but the turn of the new year saw most of those deals disappear. Sony is bringing back the discount, today announcing a The Last of Us Remastered PlayStation 4 bundle for $399.99.

This deal essentially adds the critically acclaimed Naughty Dog title to the base console at no additional cost, which I doubt anyone will have a problem with. The announcement lists no particular time frame for the 500 GB console, which means it could be a permanent fixture on the market.

There aren't any real additional details to the announcement, so it's unclear if this is replacing the standard console--after all, why would you purchase the console without the game for the same price? Regardless, if you held out over the holidays and have some gift money to spend, this is a better deal than existed before.
