The formula behind the WWE ain't broke, so why fix it for the next WWE game?
WWE'13 will, like the leaked trailer implied, center around the angle from last year that brought CM Punk into the mainstream and caused the Internet smarks to erupt with a million little skinny fists lifted high into the air.
The other draw, aside from playing out in the WWE universe during the "Revolution" period, comes from a reimagining of the "Attitude" era that Stone Cold Steve Austin helped form before he started taking on Sly Stallone in South American brawls. The Create-a-Player feature will return as folks can go from the Atttude into Revolution settings, with current characters including CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Mankind, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sheamus, Big Show and Mark Henry. Players can take the customization further with the promise of arenas, finishers, entrances, storylines and even highlight reels that'll be avaliable to upload and download through WWE'13.
As the trailer shows off, one of the new features includes the ability to break the ring and smashing barricades as part of their "Spectacular Moments" system.
It'll be released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii on October 30th.
