Dying Light Developer Livestream Set For Saturday, December 20: Twitch Stream Will Touch On New Quests, Skills

Dying Light Developer Livestream Will Touch On New Quests And Skills In The Game

Developers from Techland will be taking to Twitch on Saturday, December 20, to show off more of Dying Light, the upcoming first-person zombie game that will hit next-gen platforms in January.

Microsoft Could Be Revealing Its Unannounced VR Project As Early As June

Starting at 1 p.m. Eastern (10 a.m. Pacific), the Techland Twitch channel will begin its broadcast, answering questions and highlighting so-far rarely seen features in the game along the way. Taking the center stage in the stream will be the game's Old Town district and one quest chain, "Magic Kingdom," that hasn't been shown before.

The two developers leading the stream are producer Tymon Smektala and lead designer Maciej Binkowski. The duo will be taking this opportunity to show off some of the game's more advanced skills that players will be able to unlock, giving fans a way to see what gameplay looks like once you have more than a few hours into it.

Dying Light Season Pass Details Announced

The stream is expected to last half an hour. To bide your time until it starts, you can always check out the interactive Dying Light trailer that the developers released this week.

Dying Light is a different take on the zombie survival genre of games. With a first-person parkour movement system in the forefront, the game also uses elements like a meaningful day/night cycle to make Dying Light more than just another undead shooter.

Dying Light will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC starting January 27.
