The Wrath of Sparta focuses on a new campaign centered around the start of the Peloponnesian War in 432 BC. This will be the earliest time period in which a Total War game has been set. The trailer shows off the game's engine, while providing some dramatic narrative context. How great are those action scenes?
The developers recently revealed the campaign map for the expansion, which focuses in on Greece and the surrounding region (as show in the image above). There are 22 provinces across 78 regions, which include 12 Wonders to control. There are four playable factions, as well: Athenai, Korinthos, Sparta, and Boiotian League.
