Everyone knows by now that Luke Skywalker aka Mark Hamill will be returning for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If you didn't know that, surprise and welcome to the world. Star Wars the Force Awakens Gives Names to Faces from the Trailer
Hamill played the main character of Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy. Since that time, he's played in many other roles and has a made quite a name for himself in voice acting. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hamill opens up about returning to the franchise after such a long time, "Part of the experience of [Star Wars] in my life was coming down from that, putting it behind me. We had a beginning, middle, and an end. And I certainly, in a million years, never expected to return. I thought, even if they do more trilogies, my story is over."
But he was wrong, his story continues in the new movie but according to Hamill, he wasn't completely out of line for thinking so. George Lucas had told the original cast that there would be no more films years ago. But then, things change, people change, money changes hands.
