Console gamers who fire up World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition today will find their beloved tank simulator taken over by the French. How gauche. Developer Wargaming has announced the second Franco-based update to the game: Le Barrage Francais.
Assassin's Creed Unity Patch 4 Is Put On Hold. Womp Womp.
Now, my French is a little rusty, but I’m pretty sure that says ‘the French barrage’. Or apparently according to Google Translate “Dam French”. That could just be google’s way of translating anything in French, however.
The update adds more artillery and armor from the surprisingly effective fighting force, such as some of their most iconic SPGs including the AMX 105, the Lorr.155 51 and the B-C 1555 58. The Dam French also introduces a new trio of Soviet light tanks, T-60, T-70 and the T-80, to spot and evade opponents on any map.

Two new maps, Steppes and Highway. The former is a barren, nearly coverless area that will force players to rely on running, gunning and above all, team work. “It will keep you on your toes, mentally speaking, and outcomes are not always predictable. Get ready for a nice stay on the prairie.”
Highway, on the other hand, offers plenty of cover but narrow streets that will be excellent for pair-based flanking and choking. Open areas around the center town let you scout for enemy forces, but always be careful: the cover works both ways.
The Dam French, sorry - Le Barrage Francais update is available now to all Xbox Live Gold Members. Montjoie!
