American Horror Story fans have already been treated to a myriad of theories regarding how all the seasons of the popular show are connected one of which is that all of the seasons are just separate levels of Hell and the reoccurring characters just doomed souls. But there may be a more tangible and direct connection between seasons. We know that Pepper the Pinhead is the same person from both Asylum and Freakshow, but with if there was another?
American Horror Story: Freakshow takes 'Blood Bath' Literally in Latest Episode
Pepper the Pinhead was a mainstay in the Asylum season. The same Pepper shows up in Freakshow, which happens a decade earlier than Asylum. We know from Asylum that Pepper was locked up for chewing off her sister's baby's ears and nose but not how that works in the timeline since she's currently with the Freaks in Florida.
To answer these questions there was a page of a script from the current season stolen as reported by the Inquisitor. A page my not seem like a lot, but the text tells the story regarding how Pepper came to be at Briarcliff. No details have been released on exactly what is contained in that page other then it confirms the Pepper connection.
Pennywise Returns in It Film Adaptation
Although we know that Pepper is definitely in both seasons, Bustle offers a theory for a different character. The yet unseen therapist for Dandy and his mother may be the psychopathic psychiatrist Oliver Thredson aka Bloody Face.
During the therapist's brief moments on screen, we never see his face, only his notes and back from the neck down. It is entirely possible, after all, we don't know what Thresdson was up to prior to his time at Briarcliff other than making furniture out of women. He was ordered to Briarcliff because of his history with the extremely deranged. His work with Dandy could have been the reason why.
