The weekend has arrived, meaning mysterious Destiny merchant Xur is back, as well. The vendor is the only one in the game to sell exotic weapons, and every week is different than the last.

Xur is always in a new location from one week to the next, and his stock differs every time. He appears on Friday and departs (usually early) on Sunday, offering one exotic armor item for each class, an exotic weapon, and an exotic engram to gamble on.
This week, Xur is located in the depths of the Tower Hangar, in the back of the lowest room. Head straight down the stairs, into the tunnel, make a right, and walk to the back until you can't go any further. The merchant is peddling two gauntlets, a chest piece, and a scout rifle this time around.

The chest piece is for Warlocks, the Voidfang Vestments that have popped up in his shop several times recently. In addition to more defense, light, and strength, this item enhances Axion Bolt and increases ammo capacity for Hand Cannons and Special Weapons. Titans and Hunters both are offered the gauntlets this week: No Backup Plans and Young Ahamkara's Spine respectively. The Titan's No Backup Plans increases the duration of Force Barrier and boosts the speed of melee attacks and Special Weapon Reloads. Young Ahamkara's Spine makes Tripmine grenades last longer, harnesses more energy from grenade kills, and increases reload speed with Special Weapons.
The exotic Scout Rifle is the Mida Multi-Tool, and it looks quite good for those who prefer that weapon class. The gun boosts movement speed and fires on a hair trigger (full press not needed) and the radar stays active when zoomed. All of the armor costs 13 Strange Coins, and the rifle 23. The exotic helmet engram will, as always, cost you 23 Motes of Light.
