The reviews are in and people are not too thrilled with the next-gen offering of WWE 2K15. The improved graphics apparently come at the cost of gameplay.

But that does not mean we cannot appreciate some of the effort that has gone into creating the game. Nobody sets out to make a poor game, after all. The guys at 2K Games are no different- they're passionate, they're knowledgable and they're talented.
They're excited. They released a new Behind the Scenes video highlighting the new Showcase mode, which gives players a hands-on look into some of the WWE's biggest rivalries over the last decade or so.

Showcase mode tracks the highs and lows of the rivalries between John Cena and CM Punk and Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Those are the ones currently available on WWE 2K15.
However, 2K will be releasing new Showcase DLC in the future. Three new packs are currently planned. One focuses on the rivalry between Christian and Randy Orton; another on Mark Henry and the House Of Pain and finally, the man, the myth, the legend gets his due: The Ultimate Warrior.
"We really upped the ante as what we're doing this year for DLC, and basically not giving any player reason to eject!" says Senior Designer Bryan Williams.
It's not much but there is joy to be had in the Showcase mode. Reliving old battles can bring you closer to them, plus, perhaps you can change the outcome.
