Wondering what to do over the weekend? Mass Effect 3: Operation Exorcist is here to keep you engaged and entertained.
For those fans who are ready, Sony and Bioware are here to blow your weekend away with Operation Exorcist, N7 Weekend Challenges. PlayStation owners can now join the challenge for the first time as the developers bring the challenge for them as well.
Bioware has taken recent attempts to quell the outrage from gamers directed towards the game's ending. Mass Effect 3 provided DLC packages of extended ending scenes to help put more closure to the plot. According to a poll posted on Bioware social network forum, a vast majority, 84%, of voter showed dissatisfaction with Bioware's offering.
Protests arose as gamers formed the group "Hold the Line" in an attempt to persuade Bioware into altering Mass Effect 3's conclusion. The cries for change raised over $800 after a series of text messages was sent to the development company demanding admission to the failed ending and action to rectify it.
Amidst the controversy, many fans are still taking part in Mass Effect's DLC releases and weekend mission. The game's challenge is set for an allied goal to kill 1,000,000 Cerberus Phantoms and Squad Goal of surviving until extraction on any map and any enemy on Gold difficulty.
Players will need to know that Cerberus has been beating the allied forces trying to retrieve classified data. With the intelligence available, the N7 teams have the go ahead to do some payback.
