The dates for The Crew's next beta have been announced, following up the first console beta period with another trial just a month before launch.
The next closed beta will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 6, and run through to the 10th. You can sign up for a chance to be accepted by registering on either console, or guarantee yourself a spot in the beta by pre-ordering now.
You'll be able to drive across the U.S., with challenges and activities available only on the East Coast and in the Midwest during the beta, two of the game's five regions. This will include the PvP competitive multiplayer lobbies, allowing players to take on others in certain events. Two of the car specs, also, will be available in the game (Street and Dirt).
I was able to play a good amount of the first console beta on PS4 (you can read my generally positive impressions here), and the second should provide a similar look at the game. The full release comes December 2, so there will only be a few weeks to implement the feedback before launch. As opposed to last time, that should result in smaller tweaks and performance or stability improvements--a bit of a network test--more than a wholesale attempt to change the game.
