The patch (not a full, feature-adding update) is focused on improving game stability, and also seeks to increase the Vault of Glass raid's difficulty--final boss Atheon in particular has been tweaked to remove an exploit.
The Halloween items come in a variety of types, namely the wearable Jackolyte mask gifted to players via the message box. There are also several Halloween-themed Sparrow vehicles--jump into the game and check out the different aesthetics and abilities. There are four new Sparrows, such as the S-30 Tumbler, in addition to a mysterious consumable that changes your respawns.
