The Avatar returneth once again. The Legend of Korra, the third person action title based on the incredibly wonderful Nickelodeon show, is out today for PlayStation 3 and 4.
Legend Of Korra Behind The Scenes Video Highlights Combo System
The game comes to the Xbox family of systems tomorrow. The Platinum Games title is a "fast-paced brawler focused on combo-heavy martial arts combat with exceptional style. Each of Korra's elemental abilities packs a unique punch, brought to life with brilliant color and detail."
The title also features high-speed running levels with Korra's trusted polar bear dog companion, Naga, and the franchise's in-universe arena sport, Pro-Bending, in which teams of three use the elements to compete for battlefield territory. Fans of both The Last Airbender and Korra will find something to like, and ProBending is just a fantastic addition to the series lore in general.
Shadow Of Mordor DLC Lets You Play As The Black Hand Of Sauron
The game's story, crafted by series staff writer Tim Hedrick in association with co-creators and executive producers Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, bridges Books Two and Three of the series and features gorgeous cel-shaded artwork, animated story sequences and voice talent from the show's cast.
The Legend of Korra recently started its fourth season, subtitled Balance, via online markets after being pulled from the Friday night television lineup during its summer season earlier this year. Hmm...remind you of another popular and well done genre show?
If you're the sort that needs to take Korra on the go, developer Webfoot Technologies has created a separate Nintendo 3DS title with a similar story line, The Legend of Korra: A New Era Begins. This single-player, turn-based strategy roleplaying game will be available on October 28 as a retail-only product for $29.99.
