Microsoft will be heading into the holiday season with two new Assassin's Creed Xbox One bundles.
The deals will both include the upcoming Assassin's Creed Unity as well as Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and a new Xbox One console. The only difference between the two is that one, retailing for $399, will not come with a Kinect, while the $499 version will include the motion-sensing peripheral (and a copy of Dance Central Spotlight).
The two bundles will be available on November 2, though Assassin's Creed Unity is not set for release until November 11. The game comes in the form of a digital download code, and you can pre-download the title right away, but it will not unlock until the day of release. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag launched last year on PS3 and Xbox 360 (a high definition, slightly upgraded version was then released on PS4 and Xbox One), and should be available to play with your bundle immediately.

Corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi is, for one, a believer in Microsoft's offerings:
"This holiday we're focused on offering fans the best games, with unprecedented choice and value," he said. "We've lined up an incredible set of bundles to support the launch of some of the most anticipated game launches of the year, including Assassin's Creed Unity, Sunset Overdrive, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
"Combined with our award-winning games line-up this holiday, it's an incredible time to play on Xbox One. Over the next two months, we look forward to celebrating with fans every week as we launch new games, new bundles, and a few surprises for Xbox One."
The full contents of the bundles are as follows: an Xbox One console, a wireless controller and chat headset, a one month Xbox Live Gold membership, Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The $499 version also comes with the Kinect and Dance Central Spotlight.
