October 7 officially begins the annual wallet-assault known as Broketober, wherein video game companies assume you have all the free time in the world to buy up a new title each and every week. There are a lot of AAA offerings coming out over the next month and until the end of the new year, but one we are excited about is Styx: Master of Shadows, which hits shelves tomorrow and has just gotten the launch trailer treatment.

The new video, narrated by the rapscallion Styx himself, is a re-cut of much of the cinematics from the previous trailers. Styx lets us into his personal history, something that he has forgotten and which he hopes he will find in the looming, twisted tower of Akenash where the World Tree is housed.

We've gotten a few hours in with Styx: Master of Shadows and can safely say that they are not lying when it comes to their emphasis on 'stealth'. It is a game of patience. We'll have more tomorrow when the title hits servers and shelves.
