Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced today that Quan Chi will be returning in Mortal Kombat X.
Both Xbox And PS Will Have Special Mortal Kombat Themed Controllers
The long game is nearly at an end for sorcerer Quan Chi! His nefarious plans will come to fruition, and his nefarious plans definitely include "annoying players who are fighting him".
We know that each character will receive three variant styles. What of Quan Chi's outfits and powers? Let us run them down along with executive producer Shaun Himmerick in the embedded video below!
What Do We Know Of MKX So Far?
Sorcerer: The most basic of the three modes has Quan Chi laying magical fields around the combat arena that basically either buffs the sorcerer's damage or debuffs his enemies' or limits their mobility.
Summoner: In this mode, Quan Chi can summon a big Netherealm vampire bat that kinda looks like Dracula's flying spawn in Van Helsing. Now you're reminded that Van Helsing existed. Big fan of Quan Chi's smug chuckle as the bat goes to town on Kano in the video, as well!
Warlock: This one has the tattooed terror spawn portals to punch you from the back, the front, the sides, and even pulls you through in the most humiliating manner possible - only to have you land against Quan Chi's fists and feet. This one's gonna be the real ballbreaker of the three, I think.
Mortal Kombat X will see release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 14, 2015.
