Assassin's Creed Rogue Title Screen Leaked From EGX London Demo [VIDEO]

The Title Screen For Assassin's Creed Rogue Was Leaked At EGX London

Both upcoming Assassin's Creed games were running live demos over at the EGX London convention, and showgoers have been kind enough to share some new details about last-gen game Rogue, including the game's slick new title screen.

New Rogue Gameplay Video Showcases Both Old And New Gameplay Mechanics

The title screen, which you can watch in a video down below, was posted over on the Assassin's Creed subreddit. The title screen pays homage to Shay's complicated background as an Assassin-turned-Templar by displaying a neat 3D object that from one angle looks like the familiar Assassins insignia and from the other turns into the Templar cross.

Some other things that fans learned about this final entry in the Kenway saga include the fact that each of the game's outdoor settings, the North Atlantic and the River Valley wilderness, are as large as Black Flag's Caribbean Sea, meaning Rogue will have an immense amount of open world to explore. Videos of the demos can be found over on Ubisoft's Twitch channel.

Rogue Predictions: Historical Figures And Events We Might See In Assassin's Creed Rogue

Fans also learned that Shay's second-in-command while at sea will be historical figure Christopher Gist, a pioneer of the Ohio Valley and buddy of George Washington himself. It should prove interesting to see if the game tackles Washington's relationship with these Templar leaders, especially given the man's Masonic background.

Assassin's Creed Rogue aims to bridge the gaps between the narratives of Assassin's Creed III, Black Flag and the upcoming Unity. Players also might get to see references to Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, which takes place a couple of years following the end of Rogue.

Assassin's Creed Rogue is set to hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems on November 11.
