Perfect World and Cryptic Studios have announced the next module for Dungeons & Dragons MMO Neverwinter, which will be titled Rise of Tiamat.

The new module will follow the events of Tyranny of Dragons, which launched just last month. A story trailer previewing Rise of Tiamat can be viewed below.
"As the Cult of the Dragon look to resurrect the five-headed draconic goddess Tiamat from the Nine Hells," the press release explains, "adventurers must band together to prevent the catastrophic takeover of the city of Neverwinter."

There will of course be additions to the gameplay, as well: the relatively new Scourge Warlock class is getting a new paragon path, and new artifact gear will be available for high-level players. The story trailer is brief, but certainly provides an effective preview of what's to come in the new module. Devastation, dramatic narration, and a dragon with multiple heads--all the trappings of a good MMO update.
There is currently no release date announced for Rise of Tiamat, so check back for that news in the future. The MMO is also set for release on Xbox One sometime in the first half of 2015.
