Samsung has finally announced the release date for the Galaxy Note 4, with the phablet set to launch on October 17.
Pre-orders will begin tomorrow, and individual service providers should be announcing their own pricing and availability plans soon.
The Verge reports that AT&T has already stated that it will begin shipping pre-orders on October 14, and the Note 4 will be offered at $299.99 with a two-year contract. The monthly payment plans--AT&T Next 18 and Next 12--will allow you to pay for the Note 4 at $34.42 and $41.30 per month, respectively. Without a new contract, the device will retail at $825.99.
iOS 8 Has Launched--These Are The Updates It Will Bring
Verizon and Sprint have been mum on the Note 4 so far, but news should be coming soon. T-Mobile will take pre-orders on September 24, and offer the device for two years of $31.24 monthly payments. Samsung's latest phablet is set to square off against Apple's newly revealed iPhone 6 Plus, which comes in at a slightly smaller screen size and launches tomorrow. The Note 4 may be a little later to the party, but the two will no doubt compete for those consumers seeking oversized mobile devices.
