Ever since the first Mass Effect in 2007, BioWare has made a name for itself with the possibility of in-game romance with party members and other NPCs. For the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition this November 18, gamer curiosity has reached a peak once more: who will be the romanceable characters of this BioWare game? For a full list, read on!
Dragon Age: Inquisition Adds 4-Player Co-Op Matches
This is official word from creative director Mike Laidlaw over at the Dragon Age forums, so it doesn't get any more final than this. If you wish for the Dragon Age: Inquisition romance options to stay a surprise, click away now. For those that don't care, or want to plan their character creation accordingly, take a gander at the list:
Male Inquisitors Romance Options:
Cassandra, Josephine, Iron Bull, Dorian.
Female Inquisitors Romance Options:
Blackwall, Josephine, Iron Bull, Sera, Cullen, Solas.
Dragon Age: Inquisition Will Have Zombie Unicorn Mounts, New Morrigan Story
Note: Cullen and Solas only became romance options due to the game's delay to the end of November, and thus they are the most limited in variety. Cullen will only be romanceable by female humans or elves, while Solas will only open his heart to female elves.
Interesting to note that female elves - probably the most downtrodden race/gender combo of a character you can choose in Ferelden, just think back to the City Elf origin from Origins - actually have the widest variety of romance options. Next game, a slider instead of a binary choice for gender, BioWare!
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 18/21 (NA and Europe).
