In Massive Chalice, you are the immortal ruler of a far away land, commanding your armies against the encroaching darkness known only as the Cadence. But, you being an eternal being and all, your tactics and maneuvers are often just too long-term for many of your (very mortal) commanders. So what's a god-like creature to do?
Beget, of course! Go full Game of Thrones and marry off your commanders and warriors to try and mix and match up their finest traits to produce super offspring that have the +5 wits of their magic scholar father and the +7 strength of their sword 'n board mother. But alas! It doesn't always work that way, and you might come up with a next generation warrior who actually has his father's weak constitution and his mother's short attention span. Same-sex marriage is also an option, and it'll be interesting to see how the progeny mechanic will work in that case. This universe has magic so it's all possible!
