Activision has taken Sierra under its wing for it to be its indie division, with the first announced projects including King's Quest and Geometry Wars. You can have your first taste of the latter this week at PAX Prime!
Xenogears' Shulk Confirmed As Super Smash Bros 4 Character
Geometry Wars is not for the faint of heart, nor for the epileptic. In this fast paced arcade space (well, sort of) shooter, you are attacked from all sides and must keep up the firing tempo at a breakneck pace. In the meantime, shapes and colors of all sizes attack you relentlessly. It truly is what you'd imagine an old person must see when they think of video games.
At PAX this year, you'll be able to play the latest iteration of the arcade classic atBooth N3 (located on the 4th Floor Lobby, outside of the Main Hall), between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (PT), and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (PT) each day. Additionally, you'll be able to compete with other players and prove your mastery of three-dimensional battle in order to top the game's daily public leaderboard. At the end of each day, the leaderboard winner will be selected to receive a custom-made, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions-themed figurine - shown on display at the booth.
Nintendo Announces Super Mario 3D World Wii U Bundle, Mario Kart Bundles For Wii U And 2DS
Note that you won't actually be given your figurine at PAX itself - you'll be mailed it after the con.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will be available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and the PC (via Steam) this Holiday season. For more check out its Facebook and Twitter pages.
