An update for The Last of Us is hitting both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 today, bringing fixes and free new multiplayer maps.
Halo PAX Prime Showdown Tournament Details Announced, Pro Teams Attending
The announcement came through the PlayStation Blog from Naughty Dog's Eric Monacelli, who says that the patch should fix many general matchmaking issues. The update is rolling out worldwide, and should be waiting for you when you turn on the system today. The full patch notes can be found on the developer's website.
Two free maps are included in the update, and both are shown off in the latest trailer below. You will be given the chance to download the maps from the store when you launch the Factions multiplayer. One of the two maps is Beach, an "excellent map for long-range experts". The other is Financial Plaza, "ideal for both sniping and close quarters combat." Fans of the game's multiplayer--have at it!
New Titanfall Update Adds Titan-Free Pilot Skirmish Mode
New weapons are also available in the store through the Scoped Weapons Bundle, but unlike the maps these will cost you. The pack is priced at $2.99, or you can buy any of the four weapons within the pack individually for $0.99.
