With Apple set to unveil the new iPhone iterations in a big press even on September 9, the rumor mill has gone into overdrive with guessing at the specs and predicting what Cupertino has in store from the tea leaves of leaked images and other bits of information.
If Your iPhone 5 Can't Hold A Charge, Apple Might Switch Out Your Battery For Free
French Apple blog iGen posted some images of engineering schematics last week which show two versions of the supposed iPhone 6 next to 2013's iPhone 5S. If they are legitimate, the schematics confirm that Apple CEO Tim Cook is repeating himself this year by releasing two iPhones this year, like when he introduced us to both the iPhone 5S and the cheaper, less powerful, and more colorful iPhone 5C.
The diagrams point to a few interesting facts, one being that the rear-facing camera will not be flush with the back of the device. This coincides with the reports we've covered before, providing even more support for the two launch size rumors.

One model has a screen of 4.7 inches, and the diagram states that it will be 138mm long, 67mm wide and 6.9mm thick. The bigger model has a screen of 5.5 inches, and the schematics give a range of possibilities between it being 158mm long, 77.12 to 77.79mm wide and between 7 and 7.1mm thick, based on what prototypes eventually goes to market.
Of course, Apple is keeping quiet on any specifics about the iPhone 6 until showing us everything at the event.
