Gnarwhal Studios, best known for Cards Against Humanity and Humans vs. Zombies, are coming out with a new card game called Slap .45, a western-themed version of slapjack.
Four-Against-One In New Star Wars Board Game Imperial Assault
So what's this new Kickstarter project all about, you ask? You stand around in a circle, you ornery old cuss, and you basically try to outslap each other on different piles of cards. Simple as that! Or, if you wanna get a bit more formal about it:
"Each player chooses a unique gang with a special power and attempts to outwit and outslap their opponents. Guns and events are dealt from a central deck, and players must position themselves strategically and use their powers to survive until the final duel. Each game comes with: 67 shootout cards, 42 mini gang cards (for 7 gangs), 7 gang home bases, a custom box and rules."

And granted, if you want a slightly more detailed explanation of the rules, you can find one right here. BUT it's basically what I said earlier. And it looks like a hell of a lot of fun, you have to admit!
With 28 out of 30 days to go and already having doubled their Kickstarter funding, it looks like Gnarwhal will be able to make their April 2015 projected release date and print of 1,000 sets pretty easily.
Pledge $35 or more and you'll actually get the goldarn thing delivered to your doorstep ($15 surcharge for deliveries outside the US).
