The next seasons of European football are on their way, meaning the latest iteration of sports titles are as well. The Football Manager series is no exception, and SEGA has announced that the first details for FM 15 will be unveiled in October, and the game will release in November.
Top 5 Most-Desired Football Manager 2015 Changes And Features
While there's no specific release day set, this announcement should give fans something to look forward to. Launch is a few months away still, however, and the season will be well underway by the time the game releases. It is available to pre-order now on the official site, and doing so will get you advanced access to the title as well.
It's understandable why Sports Interactive don't release before or alongside the season, though--the transfer windows are still open, and teams will continue to buy and sell players through August. If the game releases and major transfers go through after the game launches, the database won't reflect reality--a more irritating occurrence in the genre than it probably should be.

It's unlikely that's the only factor in Sports Interactive's release plan, though, and they may very well just want or need that much time to develop the product. Work continues through the year on the most recent game (including a large update in the winter to reflect the January transfer window), so the full time since the launch of FM 14 has not been used on FM 15.
I recently wrote about what I'd most like to see from the game, aside from general improvements to the match engine and simulations. If there's anything you'd like to see from the game, sound off in the comments below, and stay tuned for more FM 15 news.
