A Madden 15 Xbox One bundle is coming later this month, offering the new NFL game alongside the system at the usual cost of the console alone.
No Man's Sky Limited-Time PS4 Exclusive, Coming To PC Eventually
Priced at $399, the bundle will be available on August 26, the release date of Madden 15. It includes a download code for a digital copy of Madden 15 as well as the standard console, controller, and headset combination in special Madden 15 packaging.
It also includes a token for three Madden Ultimate Team Pro Packs, for those interested in EA's collectible card game team-building mode. There are versions of Ultimate Team throughout the FIFA, Madden, and NHL franchises, and the game mode has become extremely popular since its introduction several years ago.
Brazilian Clubs Won't Be In FIFA 15 Due To Licensing, EA Sports Announces
The bundle will be available for pre-order soon, and the press release says it will launch at select retailers "such as Microsoft stores" (it's unclear if it will only be available at those locations, or perhaps expand to others after launch).
The new Madden title will be the first launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4--Madden 25 (the 2014 version, named for the series' 25th anniversary if you're confused) launched first on Xbox 360 and PS3 before releasing on the new consoles when they became available.
An Xbox One-only feature will be the ability to track your fantasy football team while you play via the NFL on Xbox app. Microsoft and the NFL have a partnership with one another, one that's leading to Microsoft Surfaces replacing photographs on real game sidelines this season. You can get more information on Madden and EA's other sports properties on the official website.
