In just a little over a month, the popular rpg/town builder/pokemonesque/battle/mobile game Summoners War: Sky Arena has netted a fine share of users.

Today, Korean company Com2uS announced that its latest mobile offering (the second game it has released this quarter, the other being Ace Fishing: Wild Catch) has netted 10 million downloads and boasts a robust 1 million daily players. The 3D RPG has seen success in both major and emerging markets, ranking top-10, top grossing in 33 countries' Google Play and 25 countries' App Store.
To put it in perspective, Clash of Clans, one of the top ranking mobile games by a wide margin, nets 4 million or so players per day, according to ThinkGaming. Clash has been out for several years now and has one of the most fervent fan bases of any game I can remember.

Still, it may be a while before Summoner's War can even hope to overtake Clash of Clans. The two are not directly competing, obviously, one is a social tower game, the other is a sort of everything but the kitchen sink RPG, but we love ourselves a good horse race. Both are extremely addicting free to play offerings.
