Tecmo Koei updated the site for the upcoming Hyrule Warriors. The latest addition to the ever expanding roster of character videos is Darunia! For those about to "rock", we salute you.
Hyrule Warriors Gets A Ton Of Ocarina Goodies
In The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, Darunia is the master of the Goron village and a wise being and helps Link out of that whole volcano situation in the Fire Temple. He's the kind of leader who would rather risk destruction than give up the beating heart of his town, the ruby.
Here, he's practicing a little less zen and a little more action. Darunia wields a massive hammer which he uses to smite the gathered masses like Sauron at the beginning of Fellowship. All fall before him. He can also access some incredible looking special skills, such as tossing bits of magma onto the field and essentially becoming a meteor, crashing down like an uncaring god from above.

Darunia joins Princess Ruto of the Zora tribe and Sheik, Princess Zelda's alter-ego as playable characters from the Nintendo 64 uber-classic. Several stages and screenshots, including new villain Gohma, the one eyed spider, were released last week as part of a set of all new Ocarina content. Link and Zelda are also receiving DLC costumes, which they wore in game.
We should be receiving the Sheik character video either tomorrow or the next day. We're almost in August, down the home stretch before the Japanese release of Hyrule Warriors on the August 14. The game hits American shores a month later, on September 26.
