Katsuhiro Harada talked about the last installment of the Mishima family saga Tekken 7 at Comic Con this weekend, and casually revealed the return of black sheep Lars.

Well, blonde sheep - Lars is Kazuya's Scandinavian half-brother and Heihachi's illegitimate son. Can any superfans in the comments tell us if his parentage has been explored in any detail so far? I'd wager not, since Jin's lineage is only now coming out with the seventh instalment of the main series.
Polygon reports that Tekken 7 will also feature designs from seven guest artists, including Mari Shimazaki (Bayonetta), Yusuke Kozaki (Fire Emblem Awakening, No More Heroes), Ninnin (Duel Masters, Cardfight!! Vanguard) and Kenichiro Yoshimura (Max Anarchy/Anarchy Reigns). Ninnin will be in charge of the redesign of Lars Alexandersson. Let's hope they retain the Tetsuo-like cape.
Director Shinji Aramaki, whose work includes the Appleseed series, Space Pirate Captain Harlock and Halo Legends, is directing Tekken 7's opening pre-rendered cinematic. Aramaki also worked on the animated feature Tekken: Blood Vengeance.
