One of many Comic-Con panels held today was 343 and Certain Affinity's The Master Chief Collection talk, in which they detailed more information about the Halo bundle coming to Xbox One.

The info presented during the panel wasn't limited to one particular aspect of the game, just general details we had not yet heard before. One announcement was that Zanzibar (pictured above) would be another of the maps to receive a full upgraded makeover for The Master Chief Collection's Halo 2 remake.
Beyond Entertainment, a site that covers news for competitive console shooters, helped track the news from the panel. The team explained the idea was formed when developing Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and many of the details from today relate specifically to the Halo 2 remake within The Master Chief Collection.

Glitches will be returning, which may not mean much to the casual Halo fan, but the weapon bugs in Halo 2 played a huge part in the competitive scene. Mastering the BXR glitch gave you a leg up over opponents, and it's good to see the developers are knowingly keeping these aspects of the original in the remake.
Blur Studio will be recreating cinematics for the game with its own spin (not 1:1 remakes), and are also producing CGI scenes that bridge the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5. More skulls will also be added to the Halo 2 campaign, and there were no indications it would be on PC for those of you holding out--but anything is possible.
