Train lovers and players, Train Fever is the newest train game in town and it wants to be the 2014 version of the 1994's Transport Tycoon. After a successful crowd funding campaign from company Urban Games, the game will be debuting at this year's gamescom in Germany.

The game will release on Steam, GOG and Humble on September 4 for $29.99. In Train Fever, players will have access to 50 different types of trains from the past 150 years of locomotion design and development. You can scratch out a living across the western plains in a steam locomotive, or soar into the modern day with the latest bullet train. Unlike other train simulator games, there's no grid, you can lay down track where you will. No right angles required.
Build up your empire from the past into today using an intuitive construction tool. Just set and forget. The environment will evolve and change with you, including passengers and urban development.

No matter how hard the government tries to shut em down here in the States, we will always have a fascination with trains. They're centrally located in the middle of major metropolitan areas, no need to arrive two hours early and be cavity searched. You can walk about the cabin at really any time. No ear popping. There's usually not much traffic and a lot of trains run clean. Tell me again why don't we use them more?
