Since the more modern contract killer, Agent 47, has already gotten his own mobile game with Hitman GO, it only makes sense that history's greatest killers get their own. That is why Ubisoft, GREE and NextPlay are bringing their award-winning Assassin's Creed franchise to smartphones.
Magic 2015 - Duel Of The Planeswalkers Out Now
The new title will be called Assassin's Creed Memories. The game will take elements of collectible card games, RPGs and strategy games and mix em all up with an Assassin's Creed twist. The phone is now your Animus. "Players will traverse history to build a powerful guild, recruit famous allies and defeat rival opponents."
"Assassin's Creed Memories will offer players the opportunity to explore familiar time periods like Renaissance Italy and Colonial America, while also bringing some new eras into play. The game will offer a deep and engaging single-player experience as well as multiplayer combat involving battles of up to 20 versus 20 players." Which is an insanely impressive number of combatants for any game, let alone a mobile strategy one.

With an emphasis on customization and strategy, each player will be able to create and build a unique experience as they decide what kind of Assassin they want to be and which fan-favorite allies they want by their side.
"We're thrilled to bring our expertise in mobile games to a renowned brand like Assassin's Creed and to work with a company that has brought so much to the gaming world," says Eiji Araki, Vice President, Social Games, GREE, Inc. "The card battle genre is all about being able to evolve and grow great heroes and this franchise has created some of the most epic characters in gaming today."
Card games are all the rage. Hearthstone is getting its first big expansion next week, Magic 2015 hit the servers and SolForge is an addict's dream. Square Enix's Deadman's Cross is getting a new resident, an evil resident. There has never been a better time to get back into card games.
No word yet on a release date for Assassin's Creed Memories. It will be available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch platforms. No Android support is detailed at this time. The game is currently in a soft launch in select territories.
